Post-war semi on the Palm Bay clifftop, 1970s CU with rewireable fuses, cabling original to the build. Full strip and rewire in 5 days, new 18th Edition Amdt 2 CU with RCBO-per-circuit and Type 2 SPD in an IP65 gasketed marine enclosure. All external sockets to Wandsworth marine spec. EIC and Part P notification handed over on completion.
Grade II listed 3-storey Georgian on King Street. Homeowner wanted a 7kW OZEV-compatible charger but frontage was firmly no-go with TDC's conservation officer. Sited round the side, cable run through original stud cavity from CU, chargepoint tucked behind existing gate. No listed consent needed on that siting; G98 DNO notified same day.
Portfolio EICR sweep across 4 seafront rental flats. Two came back Satisfactory. Two had C2 fails - one on bathroom Zone 1 downlight IPX0 rating, one on corroded external isolator with compromised CPC. Both remediated inside the 28-day window, re-inspected clean. Landlord holds a fresh 5-year set of certs for the licensing cycle.
Edwardian villa off Royal Esplanade with a garage-mounted CU that had lasted 6 winters longer than it should have. Replaced with a Hager marine-rated IP65 board, Type 2 SPD, RCBOs on every circuit. Meter tails renewed at 25mm from 16mm original. Part P notified same day, EIC issued next morning.
Kitchen and bathroom stripped back to bare, rewired to current zoning. Bathroom Zone 1 got IPX5 Aurora fire-rated downlights replacing pre-2004 IPX0 fittings. Kitchen circuit split with dedicated 20A radial for the induction oven. All notified through the competent-person scheme.
